An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is a health care professional who specializes in the clinical management of breastfeeding, offers a variety of services which may include:
1. prenatal breastfeeding education
2. postnatal hospital, clinic, and office visits
3. home visits
4. educational literature
5. rental of hospital-grade electric breast pumps
6. new mothers' support groups
Schedule an appointment with an IBCLC for any of the following:
1. nipple or breast pain
2. low milk supply
3. crying or colicky baby
4. breastfeeding a premature baby
5. breastfeeding twins and triplets
6. relactation and adoptive breastfeeding
